april in new york

i'm spending a wonderful april in new york. i arrived last week and found all of the trees were blossoming (much to the dismay of my sinuses which are still recovering), traffic bustling, and people wearing their spring best... i love april in new york!

we had a wonderful easter weekend in hoboken at sarah & jeffrey's. jeffrey is still as weird as ever (don't ask)... he does keep us laughing:

sarah, too, but i'm used to her, having known her for 30 years...

easter brunch was lovely, the weather couldn't have been nicer! unfortunately i was pretty sick that day, but we made the most of it with great food, our favorite easter candies, and fresh cut flowers.

later we enjoyed mimosa's on the rooftop, with great views of manhattan.

this week i spent most of my time in nyc where i shopped, lunched, walked until my feet were sore and enjoyed the spring blossoms



back at home where spring comes just a bit later, jenni's tree is just about ready to bloom
duffy, unimpressed by it all, just wanted to go back inside

next week i am back to work, for a bit. the great news is that ben is enroute to jfk as i type this, and i will see him tomorrow! then more vacation, more fun, and more family-time. later!
