blocked!
if you're wondering about the lapse in blog posts, it's because i've been blocked from blogging : ( turkey has blocked all access to blogger sites from within the country. somebody posted some sort of copyrighted content, or something like that. i'm only able to access it now through a web app, sooo annoying! this seems to happen from time to time (we only recently regained access to youtube after someone posted a video slandering ataturk). apparently it's a court ruling that can only be removed by google. until they remove the block, i'll do my best to find sneaky ways to access my site, but uploading content (pictures, etc.) will be nearly impossible.

Thanks for finding an alternate way! I've missed your emails, as well. 'Leaving for SYR shortly for final interviews for the new CNYSBA director. Couple of excellent finalists. Weather breaking to rain and back to snow this weekend. Could not get a seat last night at Parkers or Dauts, finally waited in the bar and enjoyed the crowd at Kosta's - delicious broiled Tilapia with wilted spinach. School budget talk among the BOE continues with notable politeness. But we will have to face the decision on closing West within the next few weeks. Love ya's!
Sunday snow storm was supposed to end by afternoon, but decided to stay over. Today, schools are closed throughout the area. Fortified with a hot breakfast (oatmeal mixed with blueberries and banana), I shall go forth and revise Mother Nature's landscape design. Time for more kindling and firewood, as well.
