while we were in prague, i went to a super-fancy-dancy salon and got my hair highlighted & cut. basically i've been afraid to do it in turkey since the women wear their hair here 2 ways: bleach blonde or bright red. it's just not for me. so in prague i had a dude hairdresser who danced to techno music the whole time & offered me a drink from their trendy in-salon bar. it was an experience. and he did so much layering with his scissor magic i wasn't sure i'd have any hair left- he actually resembled edward scissorhands at times- but i am quite pleased with the outcome.
the weird thing is my hair actually has some curl to it again, which hasn't happened since my random curly-hair phase in college. weird?!
