emre's still working on sleeping in his crib. it was going very well (he was sleeping through the night, on his own) up until last night, when he woke at 12am and didn't go back down until 2:30. it's such a mystery sometimes trying to figure out what is bothering him... we'll get there! he celebrated his first fourth of july this week. we made the most of it despite being abroad: last saturday there was a party at the american base, and on wednesday ben and i attended the celebration at the ambassador's residence.
