we arrived back from the states on monday and have been recovering since. let's just say it's been a looong week, with not a lot of sleep.
hanging with mom in the middle of the night
emre's now ten months - we had his checkup this week and found out he's gained 1.5 kg's (now 21 pounds), and grew 4 cm's (he's now 28.7 inches!). most importantly, the doctor agreed with us that he is showing signs that he's pretty advanced for his age (we're not just crazy parents! yay!). needless to say we're incredibly proud of our boy.

we had a WONDERFUL time in the states, though it was very short between holidays and ben working the second week. it's always good to spend time with family - especially now that we have emre to share with them! here are some pics from our stay.

almost every day i took him for a walk so he could nap - it was great being in a neighborhood where you can do that. we walked to wegman's several times - even better!
