antalya

took a walk in antalya, this is what i found:

snow still covers the mountain tops, though it was about 70-75 degrees at sea-level.

still a little too cool to swim at the beach, though this didn't stop hotel guests from sunbathing by the empty pool.
flowers beginning to bloom, including some i'd never seen before.

palm trees of all shapes and sizes


sat on a bench and read for a while, made friends with a stray cat

found some signs of spring. this reminded me of what is to come, further north, in ankara. i needed that reminder.
