we spent our last summer weekend in turkey (mine, at least, since i leave for the states on saturday!) on the aegean coast in bodrum (aka, my favorite spot. aka, heaven on earth.).
it was the perfect end to what has been a fabulous summer.
the weather was beautiful-- and ben was in a hurry to enjoy it!
the highlight of our stay at the rixos was having our own private beach cabana
talk about the perfect recipe for relaxation--
we swam from our own dock and were waited on with room service!
ben was thrilled to discover a play station 3-- with his favorite soccer game--IN the cabana.
it kept him busy and quiet in between swims. i too was pleased with this discovery ; )

i took several myself, and enjoyed my new kindle in the shade of the cabana.
the head waiter zipped us around the island on his golf cart.
enjoying tropical drinks...
...while watching the sun set over paradise...
...made for a lovely holiday.
now it's time to pack pack pack for my trip to the us... cannot believe how quickly this summer has flown by.
SO excited to spend time with family and friends, and of course, have wedding #2!
