too darn hot

oh man, it really is.  i'm talking over 100 degrees (like, 107?) every day for the past week.  and dryyyy.  and according to the weather report, it's not cooling down any time soon.  this is ok when i'm at work in my comfortably air conditioned office.  but at home?  with nothing but 2 ceiling fans?  and lately, not even the slightest hint of a breeze?  well it's just too darn hot.

it's got me singing an old favorite.
