...it was the day of kathryn's first birthday party! ben and i were tickled pink to spend the day celebrating this very special little lady bug, as were many of her other loyal fans!
unfortunately it was about 100 degrees that day, but didn't she look cute in that little romper? she absolutely adores her nanny ami.
lincoln just didn't understand what all the fuss was about.

coccinella, julianne's favorite lady bug-themed pastry shop, delivered the ladybug cupcakes to complete the ladybug party theme. it was very, very lady-bug.
and what bbq would be complete in turkey without doner?
and shortly before the party began, princess kathryn made her grand entrance...

so hard to believe it's already been a year!
