last night our downstairs neighbors rang our doorbell with a big bowl of asure (or 'noah's pudding') in their hands. they did the same last year, when the month of asure took place in january. how fitting that it takes place so close to christmas this year! and how nice to have such thoughtful, kind and caring neighbors.

Looks delish! What a thoughtful tradition your neighbor maintains for you. Here, the snow continues, a few inches every day. It's beginning to add up to quite a lot!
