the nursery

this week some progress was made on the nursery:  the furniture has arrived!  we worked with the same guys who made the furniture in our living room & dining room, and yet again, they did a beautiful job.  

wardrobe & rocker... knobs for the wardrobe & corner shelf will come from the states.

this rocking chair is not new - just newly painted.  it was the rocking chair ben's parents rocked him in as a child, and when his dad offered it to us, we gladly accepted it!  i can't wait to rock my little one in it.

ben and i take turns peaking into our baby's room, it's so exciting to see it taking shape.  all that's left is to pick curtains, a rug, decorations, and... a crib!  i guess we'd better get busy.
