i've been fortunate to meet a group of expat women here in ankara who were/are pregnant. i call it my 'preggers' group, though now there are fewer bellies than babies in our little group! we recently had a surprise baby shower for our friend annette, who is due in december. then it will just be me, the last to give birth.
we get together once a week for coffee, sometimes at starbucks, sometimes at someone's house. our conversation is almost always focused on the babies, and i'm so grateful for the tips and information i've gained from these ladies! now that 3 of us have babies, it's great for me to hear their stories... and hold their babies!
