some updates

:: as of friday, baby boy is weighing in at 3 pounds 16 ounces, and measuring at 32 weeks.

:: i'm just 29 weeks pregnant as of today.

:: this is going to be one big baby.

29 weeks & feeling huge

:: today is the start of kurban bayram (the sacrifice holiday, or eid), probably the biggest of the muslim holidays.  we'll be busy visiting with family throughout the day.  we had thought about taking a drive to see some of the action (for this holiday, lambs and cows are purchased and slaughtered and given to families in need), but i'm not sure i could stomach it.

:: we are off to the states on tomorrow morning!  sooo excited to see my family, and... eat.  a lot.

:: the curtains for the nursery arrived and are looking beautiful, in my opinion.  when we return from the states i'll post some more pictures including the prints i'll be bringing back.

:: last week i lost my wallet (most likely dropped it somewhere).  2 canceled credit cards and 2 replaced licenses later, i got a call this week from the embassy.  somebody 'found' my wallet, and turned it in at a local hospital.  i headed straight there to pick it up and, of course, the good sameritan had withheld a finders fee of all my cash.  but it sure beats identity theft.

:: every single night now i have the most wild, vivid dreams.  almost always involving my family.  last night i had a series of them, one which involved our baby, who was an infant but could talk, and was telling me i was doing everything wrong.  anxiety much?

:: pretty much everything i do/think/say these days revolves around baby boy.  we are getting so anxious to meet him.  he's more active than ever, and i can only imagine what he is doing in there as i watch my belly bounce around.
