ben & i were lucky to have an excuse to travel back to the states for work right before thanksgiving... and lucky enough to stick around to spend thanksgiving with my family! this is the second year we've been able to do it together, and the last year we'll be doing it without a little one in tow... so we were really glad it worked out. sarah & jeff arrived the night before and we spent the morning baking pies & preparing some dishes to bring to the keating's house, where we had a wonderful time & amazing meal. we had a big crowd, including ben's best friend serdar who joined us from binghamton.
