we spent the week getting sick with colds (all three of us) and then getting over them. we're still working on the latter, but feeling much better overall.

last saturday we had a special celebration for agatha's birthday - i invited some of her friends to join us for a celebratory dinner & drinks. i also ordered a special cake for our greek goddess, which was delivered to our table at mickey's... fun times!

then on sunday we had another birthday to celebrate - eren, from our baby group, was celebrating his first.

emre's starting to enjoy food more & more, and i'm trying my best to keep introducing him to new stuff (loves squash, tomatoes & lentils, pear, rice cereal... but still working on more textures & picking anything up and putting it in his mouth). being over his cold really helps, as he didn't have much of an appetite for anything at the peak of it, poor kiddo.

and we are pretty sure he's started waving, and even SAYING, bye this week... though his is more in the way of steele magnolias (bah!)... next he'll be telling us his colors are blush and bashful!
