last night i went to a friend's art exhibit here in ankara. she works with paper mache, and has always had some interesting pieces. she & some friends decided it would be fun to put together a show of some pieces along with photographs of the pieces. and fun it was! 6 pieces were on display, a 'band' of sorts. and the photographs of these little characters told stories that were clever & comical. here are some shots i took in the gallery... asli kept busy chatting with the many people who crowded the exhibit... i got a shot of her red shoes passing through
my friend beril & i spent some time chillin' with the band
after we went for dinner at a fish restaurant. good times had by all.
