sarah, emre and i have been having lots of fun this week. ben left on saturday morning for the states and returned this afternoon. we all missed him, but kept plenty busy while he was away!
on sunday we ventured out to the mall (saturday was yet another snow storm so we stayed in and watched movies), where we had lunch with agatha and did some shopping. on monday we stopped back at the mall to pick up some essentials for tuesday's wine night, then headed to agatha's for an amazing late afternoon lunch.
the boys were very gentle & sweet with emre, who mostly slept.
on tuesday we lunched at rafine, where sarah got to try some delicious mezzes, then ran some errands and came back home to prepare for the party. that evening we hosted the ladies from my mommy group for wine & dessert.
we all enjoyed a relaxing evening, complete with wine, chocolate, and lots of laughs.
emre didn't mind being the only dude one little bit. in fact, i think he really liked the attention : )

today it was already time for ben to come home! we prepared for his arrival this morning by bathing emre & putting him in a cute little dude outfit. of course, we had to have a photo shoot once he was dressed:

ben got in right on time and was overjoyed to be reunited with his son.

then we tried some bumbo time, which resulted in this:
luckily, auntie sarah was able to make little man happy again.
together they enjoyed playtime and plenty of cuddles & kisses.
i love you auntie!
and of course, there's always time for a nap!

Such happy times! Because of our visit, everything is so familiar that I feel like we are there with you, even at Agatha's apartment! Rafine - oh, Sarah, we will have to reminisce about that experience!
So glad that Ben is home and your are all together again!
