today is ben's birthday! i turned to him the other day and asked 'are we turning 32 or 33 this year?' and he responded 33, so there you have it. funny how you lose track! i blame it on the lack of sleep.
this will be a low-key one, mainly because he refuses to let us celebrate it much. we did have a nice brunch at coccinella with his dad yesterday, and today emre and i will take him out for lunch. lame, i know! i guess he feels like he already got a pretty awesome gift this year (you know, our son), so i'll let this one slide.
