emre's ten weeks today. we've had a good week, though he's been fussier than in the past. our guess is he's going through a growth spurt, which is just fine. we spent this morning dancing around the living room - our new routine. this kid just loves his music - which makes me so happy. today he was introduced to the shins, and he liked them just fine.
tomorrow morning will be nowhere near as peaceful, as we'll be off to the hospital at 8am for emre's circumcision. as the surgeon tells us, he'll enter a boy and leave a man. sure. luckily the procedure will be quick & easy - just 20 minutes - and will not require full anesthesia. we should be home in the early afternoon, and i'll be sure to let you know how it goes. oh, all the smiling, it brings tears of happiness to my eyes!! He is really laughing in some of these pictures huh? the picture of his Turkish grandpas gazing at him is incredibly sweet.
I'll be thinking of you all tomorrow and anxiously awaiting a call about how it all goes.
