emre turned four months last sunday - i'm just now getting around to posting his four month shot. but it's really cute, so that should make up for the delay.
cuteness overload
we had his checkup on tuesday, as well as the latest round of shots, which was not a lot of fun for him or mommy. poor kid's still recovering!
emre's biggest news this week is that he has rolled over - a total of five times, so far. he does it whenever i put him on his stomach now, so as soon as he figures out how to do it from his back i imagine he'll be rolling across the room. ohhh boy!

the other big news around these parts is that grandma (aka anneanne, aka emre's gigi, or great grandma) arrived today from australia! she is 80 years old and still traveling like a pro. we are so happy to have her here. it was a pretty emotional moment for all of us when she first met her great grandson. surely her daughter reyhan, ben's mom, was with us in spirit on this special day.

tomorrow is a big day for me - it's my first day back at work from maternity leave. really not excited about it, pretty sure i'll be a mess all day, but at least i can feel confident knowing anneanne and evelyn will take excellent care of my bebe in my absence. and it's a one-day work week, being that june 1st falls on a friday. may as well look at the bright side, right?
