we are off to sunny bodrum tomorrow for a long weekend by the sea with good friends. we are REALLY looking forward to our mini holiday - though i am a bit nervous about emre's first flight! luckily it's not too long so it should be a good test run for longer trips to come. we'll certainly take lots of photos to post when we return. in other news, emre is turning 4 months old on sunday! since we'll be away i'll post his birthday shot next week. in the meantime, here are some pics from our week:
we hosted the girls & babes for coffee this week. there were a total of 6 babies, and as usual they all had fun playing together.

i'd been eyeing a 'rainforest jumperoo' at a local shop, but it was quite expensive. then this week another expat who is moving offered her barely used one for sale at a fraction of the price & i snatched it up. score! it's so nice to have another option for keeping emre occupied when i need to get something done, or just need a break!

ben and i cannot fathom how quickly emre is growing and changing. sometimes we look at him and he doesn't even look like a baby anymore... like last night, when i put him in these size six month pi's!
