fifteen weeks (tomorrow)

emre's fifteen weeks tomorrow!  i'm posting today since we'll be hitting the road early in the morning for a road trip to bursa.  our good friends safa and allison are getting hitched, and we are very excited to attend their turkish wedding!  don't worry, i'll take plenty of pics.

speaking of plenty of pics... we've had a pretty good week around here.  how could you not with this little one around?

last weekend we ran into our friends, mert & figen, whose little boy demir was born on the same day as emre.  they are, not surprisingly, almost exactly the same size.  and their dads were looking a bit alike as well!

emre's getting so strong - recently he's started to really move around.  when i leave him on his gym, i often come back to find he's in a different spot entirely.

last weekend we went to a birthday party - where this little girl just fell in love with emre.  she wouldn't leave his side!

last night we had dinner with uncle fazil can, who's heading to russia for a brief internship before he returns to the states.  luckily we get to see him again before he goes back to boston.
