yesterday was emre's 3 month check up. of course, his doctor only echoed what we're always saying about him: he's perfect!

it turns out emre has been quite busy growing. he now weighs 14.3 pounds and is 23.6 inches long. he's just about in the 50th percentile for his age group all around. after our visit with dr. hande we headed downstairs to have his vision tested. this was a bit more tricky, since infants have attention spans akin to the dog on 'up' (squirrel!). the doctor was very patient & good with him though, and was able to complete two tests which determined that his vision is perfectly fine & on track for his age. we'll see her again when he turns one.
needless to say, ben and i left the hospital feeling incredibly blessed for our healthy, happy little guy.

Congrats mommy, daddy and Emre! great news that he's such a healthy baby. though auntie is not surprised in the least. love that little bug, and love you guys!
you are blessed to have such a beautiful boy just as much as he is blessed to have such beautiful parents.
